The best ways to hide your affiliate programs

Everyone out there has come across an obvious affiliate link at some point in time. “RandomProfits.com/?referrer=JohnDoe”

The problem that most bloggers who make their money by affiliate sales is that if they leave the links in that format, the tech savvy readers most likely will remove the information after the ‘?refferrer’ in the URL, even if it only adds extra benefit to the affiliate marketer.

  4. I’m kind of allergic to affiliate links, but thanks for the tip. Will be hiding my own aff-links and hopefully fool at least some visitors.

  8. Hi, I use a special free cloaking software to get rid of the ugly affliate links. So, my commissions will not be robbed and I can have my own URL as the affiliatelink, something like this: http://www.tlmarketing.net/recommends/XXXXXXX

    It looks professional too.
