Commenthunt helps you build links to increase website traffic
This is the 12th part of The Link Building Cookbook series showing you the best places to build links to increase website traffic.
A great way to build backlinks is from related blogs. The problem that most people run into is the blogs do not have a “Top Commentators” plugin, or do not have search engine friendly blog comments. I have run across a blog search engine that lists only blogs that have dofollow enabled. So far, the list is pretty small, but I feel it has potential and should not be overlooked. The site is called CommentHunt.com.
The site brings up a lot of duplicate entries, so if one blog gets accepted EVERY single post shows up in the search engine. This is nice for if you want to build a lot of links, but if you search for something generic like “internet marketing”, you will get half of the results from one single blog. A lot of the blogs have disabled followed links as well, so be sure to watch out for those, or you can always report them. All in all, it is a decent link building tool, but since it is completely free, I cannot complain much about it. If it is something you like, use it, otherwise move onto the rest of the goodies that The Link Building Cookbook has to offer.

Hi,
Another cool post in the cookbook series,I am trying all your cookbook ideas to one of my blog…and I am quite happy the way it turns out to be…good work Collin
Thank you for sharing this. I visited a few Dofollow blogs and I found they are very friendly people. I have the plan to use Dofollow myself too. How about you?

I really like using top comment blogs to boost my links.

I love these kinds of tips. You just don’t see them on other blogs (at least I haven’t).
Great job finding this. I’ll be using it often.

great post about commenthunt :
I have visited the commenthunt but I am getting this error Bad Request (Invalid Hostname). I really wanted to list my blog because it was do follow blog although I have read before that some of the blogs in commenthunt are not do follow blog.

dude, this is an incredible tutorial. i think one needs to exercise caution though. i try to steer clear of links where i won’t be adding value to another site. a while ago no one would have thought google would penalize paid links. who says they won’t start penalizing edu or gov links? great resource. i’ve had this site open all day, working through my sites. but one must be cautious, especially if you’re trying to build a name for yourself.
First off, great write up on the linkbuilding. Second, that nofollow search engine rocks
Another great tips. Thanks, i was looking for this.
I use Fast Blog Finder from fastblogfinder.com, it’s similar with commenthunt.com does
im going to try out now and see^^thanks, love your blog
Last time i checked, it was hard to find blog with no follow there..
First off, great write up on the linkbuilding. Second, that nofollow search engine rock you !
hey codeboot…. the search engine is “do follow”
Would you be interested in writing for The Neave Online Publication? I love your writing style and I feel like you would fit in perfectly with the other writers.
search engine and things related to it are always evolving, so its kind of hard to stick with the same plan as you always have to adapt to new rules. specially with google. any way thanks for the post.
I tried using comment hunt, but all of the blogs I found were no follow.
Just a warning – stay away from CommentHunt’s paid service. It’s a waste of money. Their customer support is non-existent and you’ll get spanked by Google for linkage from ‘bad neighborhoods’.
