The idea behind the name

Recently a lot of people have been confused and asking why I used Mixed Market Arts as the name of my blog. I wanted to write this post to explain my reasoning just encase you have no idea what it means. The name is a word play off of the words “Mixed Martial Arts” which is a very popular combat sport in which a wide variety of fighting techniques are used. For example, it is very common to see a kick boxer fighting in an arena against a master of karate or jujitsu. Many different forms of martial arts are used such as grappling and striking.

Now, with that reference in mind, I named the blog “Mixed Market Arts” for that very reason. I wanted my blog to discuss a very wide variety of internet marketing (mixed Market arts) rather than focusing on one small niche. A lot of internet marketing strategies go hand in hand with each other, so I wanted to be the first to group them all together in my blog. I blog about many different forms of “marketing arts” (excuse the pun) such as blogging, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, affiliate marketing, blackhat SEO, and lots of other ways to make money online.
