David Airey Hacked
While reading around a few blogs, I came across a blogger/designer from the United Kingdom. His name is David Airey and he blog(ed) over at DavidAirey.com. His Gmail account was hacked and the hacker took siege over the ownership of his domain and is asking for $250 to get his name back.
David Airey doesn’t want to pay the criminal, so he moved his entire blog over to a backup domain (DavidAirey.co.uk), but has lost all of his search engine results in the process.
It is a shame to see a hacker try to steal money from people when it is close to CHRISTMAS that I wanted to make a blog post to help spread his story and give him some new backlinks to help him get back on the search engines.
If my predictions are correct, all of the bloggers who are in the Christmas mood that I am in will pick up the story and David Airey can benefit by getting more traffic than had before he was hacked! This happened way back in 2004 (or 05) when the Million Dollar Homepage was hacked and the hacker asked for $50,000 to stop knocking the site offline.
If you are reading this, do David Airey a favor and link to a few of his blog posts as well as his story so that he can come back ahead of where he was originally, and I am sure the good karma will be returned in the long run of things.

David, if you are reading this I apologize if this post turns into a lot of trackback comments, but I hope the extra links will get your new domain in Google and that this post will spread your story more.

Hi Colin,
Thanks so much for this blog post! It’s very kind of you to pick up my story and run with it. Also great to link to a few of my older posts.
With the help of people like you, I’ll soon overcome the setback forced by the criminal.
I hope you have a fantastic Christmas!
