$300 blog competition – Tyler Cruz vs Gyutae Park

I am all up for entering cool blog contests, and this dignifies as one. Tyler Cruz and Gyutae Park are having a blog competition where three lucky winners will win $100. It is a unique contest in the sense that they are fighting over who will win the competition by getting the most blog votes for them. My vote goes to Gyutae Park, heres why:

  • He’s unique
  • I win a free T-shirt! (Worth more than entrecard credits)
  • He’s dedicated (He spent $1500 on his last contest)
  • He’s the underdog (by visitor count)
  • He’s a great writer
  • He personally emailed me to join the contest
  • Did I say I get a free T-shirt? =p

    • Now to clarify, I subscribe to both blogs and enjoy both of them very much. The $100 is not a huge deal to me. If I win the $100, I will donate half to Kiva and give the other $50 away to a reader. I just like the underdog to have a chance at winning. There really will be no “loser” so to speak, because both blogs are gaining tons of links and will both grow endlessly from such a little monetary investment.

    As for voting incentives, Tyler Cruz is giving away 100 entrecard credits, but I have already given away 450 in the last week as they are not worth a whole lot right now.
