This is a quick follow post about Sitehoppin, which I have previously written about.

SiteHoppin is, in short, a browser-in-a-browser which lets you visit websites based on tags and categories. You can submit your site, tag it, and rate it a five – afterwards, people that use SiteHoppin will sometimes be directed towards your site. I’ve consistently been receiving 2-3 visits per day since adding my site.

I just wanted to make a quick post announcing that I have reached two of my blog’s biggest milestones. My blog is now one of the top 10,000 blogs in the world according to Technorati. Being that there is well over 112,000,000 blogs on Technorati right now, having my blog be in the top 10,000 puts me in the VERY top percentile of blogs.

Stumpedia or Spampedia?

Luis Pereira over at Stumpedia asked me to do a paid review to follow up my original post about Stumpedia. By the looks of it, he has added a lot of changes, but for those who have not already experimented with this people powered search engine, I will start with the introduction about the site.

Stumpedia is an interesting twist on conventional search engines – it relies on user participation and submission to provide search results rather than sending out spiders to crawl websites. The site is one hundred percent powered by the people that use it.

Link Building with Gather

This is part 27 of my series called the link building cookbook that aims to be the ultimate link building resource on the web.

Gather is a place where you can share the things that are important to you with tons of different people. Boring right?

If I were to write my OWN description of what Gather is, here is how I would describe it:

Gather is an extremely popular site with over 700,000 pages indexed in Google. It has an incredible amount of pagerank, authority, and trust. Google crawls the site daily because it is filled with so much content. Gather allows internet marketers and link builders like ourselves to write up quick articles and plug a few backlinks in them.

Getting Your Pagerank Back In 2 Days

When I finally got around to getting this awesome theme released back in January, I redid all of my advertising prices as well as the way I did things. Since then, every advertisement link mentioned had the “nofollow” tag added to it, stopping Google from passing authority to the advertisers. I forgot one small detail though, back in my first month I had sold a few text links for $100 and forgot to add the nofollow tags to those, and some kind fellow decided to report my blog.
