Top Affiliate Challenge Update

I would like to start off by thanking everyone for voting for my Top Affiliate Challenge Audition. The voting has now officially closed, and the top 10 contestants with the most votes are guaranteed a spot on the show. I came in the top 25%, which means the judges get to pick two people from this category to also be included on the show. I had to write a pitch to why they should pick me, and it had to be under 250 words. Here is the final draft that I submitted:

I believe I am a prime candidate to be on the Top Affiliate Challenge because I am smart, dedicated, and hard working. I am 18 years old and already make my entire income online. I am living proof that anyone can develop a career out of nothing if you have the dedication and the motivation to work hard online.

I try to be an inspiration for dozens of like-minded online entrepreneurs. I am always on a quest to keep learning and utilizing what I know. I know a lot about many forms of online marketing, but affiliate marketing is something I have only gotten my feet wet in. I want to jump head-first into affiliate marketing so that I can leverage my existing skills and knowledge to sell other people’s products and services.

I believe the Top Affiliate Challenge is the perfect place for me because it will provide an excellent learning environment with industry experts, and I will be able to share everything I learn with all of the viewers watching the show, as well as all of my blog readers and friends. I believe the Top Affiliate Challenge is going to be a win-win opportunity for the contestants, the viewers, and most importantly the sponsors, and I hope I can be apart of it.

I submitted my entry less than two hours before the voting will begin, because 50,000 homes were out of power overnight on the 15th, and my family celebrated Father’s Day yesterday (I hope you had a great Father’s day for those who celebrate it). It is all down to the judges looking over all of the top 25th percentile candidates to choose two for who would be the best fit for the show. I really hope I get on the show so that I can learn a lot more about affiliate marketing, and hopefully expand my online portfolio. There is a lot of tough competition in the top 25%, so I want to congratulate everyone else who made it there. I would also like to congratulate the current top 10 contestants for their hard work, as well as the guru’s who will be coaching the teams throughout the entire show. My last thanks goes out to Thor Schrock for the hard work he has poured into the Top Affiliate Challenge.

    TAC is a fantastic concept. Thor had 5 of the twelve peopel who made the cut on my shoe June 16th. I’m sorry you couldn’t make it. The show was sceheduled for more than a month but it was not until that day did we think of bringing on all the contestants.

    6. Top Affiliate Challenge Launched Today…

    I just finished watching the first episode of TAC and I think it is going to be a pretty interesting show. I live in Lincoln NE, where it is being filmed, so it is pretty cool to see my hometown as the backdrop for this show.
