time management has always been a problem for me. hopefully your tips can help me.
Hi Prem!
I usually batch my activities (got this phrase from problogger.net). e.g. Monday-Tuesday is my posting day, where I tried to focus on composing and publishing articles for a week ahead. Although I still need to improve my posting speed, but I can see batching my tasks allows me accomplish more tasks better.
I recently published a post on how valuable your time really is. How will you spend if someone gives you $86,400 each day?
I am not even writing articles, just posting comment on loads of blogs on a daily basis. Have found that the blogosphere is an eater of time unlike any other, as I continiously find myself reading a good post and its follow up comments, and getting so immersed in the process that time just flies by.
Am going to be installing time management software on my laptop in order to try manage my time online better.
Pretty much non-stop, LOL!
Becoming a professional blogger is not as easy as it seems. You have to apply your management skills and work like a professional so that you get the maximum results.
You should blog about something which is unique and that you have knowledge about.SEO is equally important. It is always better to dedicate different days for research, posting and SEO.
Nice article.
Blogging should not be that time consuming if you plan ahead and possibly even write a few drafts for future blogs when you have time.
Thanks a lot for the encouraging comments, hope to write more guest posts in the future sometime….
Cheers

David i agree with you. I have the same situation. I do it in the evening while the TV is running. Otherwise i would just be watching TV and so the time is lost anyway
Has anyone some experience with speech recognition software? I think if it works it could speed up the writing (talking) process considerably.
I think your pointers will be of great help for me as time management is not my cup of tea

Some very good advice I once received -
There are more things to do in a day than will ever get done. Do the most important things and when you’re done, stop.
