BlogBlazers Review
A little over a month ago blogger Stephane Grenier sent me a review copy of his newest book titled “Blog Blazers: 40 Top Bloggers Share Their Secrets.” In return for the review copy, I gladly accepted to write a honest review to all of you.
The book is extremely simple in theory. It consists of Stephane asking a little over 20 questions to 40 different bloggers who write about many different topics. There are a lot of big names interviewed in the book, including Aaron Wall, Seth Godin, Neil Patel, and many more.
Link Building with MyWikiBiz
Have you ever tried creating your own page on Wikipedia, possibly one for your companies product or website? Have you been slightly annoyed when an editor has deleted your post or the external link to your website to keep Wikipedia’s topics as “neutral” as they can be? Well if so, I have some good news for you today.
MyWikiBiz is a wiki much like Wikipedia (although obviously smaller), but it promotes itself as not being totally neutral. They want pages about everything, and have even set a goal to reach 265 million pages some day.
Link Building with LogoPallet
A little over a week ago I received an email from someone trying to promote their website with backlinks. Unlike most of the email pitches I see, the site he was looking to promote actually offered free dofollow links in return. The website I am talking about is LogoPallet.
LogoPallet is a free logo design gallery, much like the many CSS galleries that I have used for link building in the past. LogoPallet lets you submit your logo to be displayed on the front page of their website to all of their users, and they also create a page with a little paragraph of information about your site where you are allowed to put an anchor text link back to your website.
Link Building with eBooks
While browsing the web today I came across a website that had a ton of free eBooks available for download that were submitted by users. This page also had a dofollow link to the author of the eBook’s personal blog. This got me thinking that anyone could make a simple text-filled eBook with simple information about the niche that they are in, and then publish the eBook to many free ebook directories with the hopes of free traffic and links. I have not done this myself yet as the creation of the eBook may be a little bit time consuming, but it has been awhile since I have come up with any advanced link building strategies and thought I would share this one.
Content Rich Review
Owning a large blog like this one, it comes naturally that I receive a lot of book review offers in my email. Of these emails, I gladly accept the ones that are related to my industry and read them in detail and if I like them (or strongly dislike them), I write an honest review on my blog.
Well, Jon Wuebben of Custom Copywriting offered me a testimonial copy of his new book, “Content Rich: Writing Your Way to Wealth on the Web.”
