Link Building with Trulia
After talking about Zillow and ActiveRain, I have found another quick link for those in the real estate niche. The site is called Trulia. Trulia is a real estate search engine that shows listings, maps, comps, and more all in one place. It lists thousands of real estate professionals in a social network like format. The site allows for people to look for new house listings in their area.
For the real estate professionals out there, or for those who just want to do some more link building, you can create a free profile in about 5 seconds as it is a quick two page form. Then once you have your account, you can edit your profile and there is a place where you can add your website, and it even lets you select the anchor text you want it to show. That is all that is to it, another anchor text link in return for about 3 minutes of your time. Now, like any profile link opportunity, I recommend promoting your profile with SocialMarker or by super promoting it through your link building software of choice.

Hey, I’m a Feng Shui expert……Feng Shui is a type of architectural design that applies to both residential and commercial real estate. Also, I provide DJ services for RE promotional events.
I guess these ancillary R/E services makes me qualified to have a profile at Active Rain & Trulia……LOL
I guess since I used to be a real estate agent then I’m qualified to have a profile at these sites as well.
Thanks as always, Collin, for the great link resources.
This is very true.I already have profile on trulia and it helps a lot to get some backlinks and readership to your blog in real estate niche.I have website that mainly focuses on selling home by house owners and trulia helped me in spreading the word.
Actually Trulia is basically for real estate industry. And I heard that if sombody wants backlink it should come from the related site like my site is mainly focused for classifieds and if I do my blog on trulia about real estate and insert my website link , is it make any sense? I mean is it useful?
