Link Building with ActiveRain
Well it looks like link builders who are promoting real estate websites are in good luck, because today is a real estate related site that you can build anchor text dofollow backlinks from. The site is called ActiveRain, and is one of the largest real estate websites on the planet, so the majority of real estate professionals would have probably heard about them already. Well, on your profile you can add html links to the three sections under the little “description” of you is through their WYSIWYG editor.
The links are pretty strong too because on your profile page, there are only 3 external links, and two of them are to your website. The rest of the links are all just the ActiveRain template. For example, take a look at Collin LaHay’s Activerain Profile.
When you are adding content to your profile, make sure you add content that is relevant to your external link. Google reads the text that surrounds links because the majority of links are not by search engine optimizers like ourselfs, but are rather text links that say “click here” or the actual URL http://www.uberlinkbuilding.com. Google has learned that it needs to read the surrounding content to add relevancy to the link, even when it is not anchor text. You can instantly improve your link just by adding the link inside a few sentences.
Like any other link building with profile techniques, you can pump up your profiles power by building links to it with methods like Socialmarker or if you really want to promote it, you could use some link building software.

Hey the new blog design looks quite good.
Cheers
Only 21 days since your last blog post…we thought you had fallen into a hole somewhere! LOL
Second semester of school started and had lots of important stuff to get done.
Another great post Collin Thanks!
School is overrated…Blogging makes you money..You ought to see if they have a job opening for a blog professor!!
Another great post Collin Thanks!
Thanks for the sharing
I agree with your comment about school. I have a degree and don’t even use it now that I make a living online. I would say that it is good to have though – just in case.
Thanx for the article. Actually I went though all ur articles and all of them are praiseworthy.
But I’m facing a trouble. Any reputed site (may be PR-6,7) that provides me do-follow link is that good. But the PR of my link/article/blog on that site is 0. I mean the site may have PR-6, but my article’s PR=0. This link doesn’t value for Search engines.
Pls, help me regarding this issue.
thanx dear for that sharing……..
thanx for this information
apparently this is a myth about the forums..it still gives linking in google..just being on an authority site..even if it says forum pr 0 ..actually it even comes up in the search on google sometimes
dude… i don’t know how you do it but the gems you have shared with us are amazing… once again i am a realtor lol
Thanks for the nice information.
Brilliant post.. I follow your blog for quite a long time and should tell that your articles always prove to be of a high value and quality for readers.
Yes, active rain is still a pretty good site.
Yes, ActiveRain is still an Authority site
. You can also add blog posts, which also includes the ability to add a blogroll.
well I checked but sadly they changed the profile links to “nofollow” – imho still worth that little effort
Have you checked how they do treat links in blogposts? maybe worth going that next step?
Thank you for all your effort anyway
thanks for a great post. Active rain is a good site and your blog is a great source of valuable information.
Well not much value for google as they are no follow.
Tell me what you're thinking...
