Here is a quick little link building tip that came to me through email almost a month ago, and even though its a shameless self plug, I am letting you guys know about it anyway. :-)

You can put a link in your post, you just need to get by are [sic] moderators &community to make sure you earned your link by providing real humor based content. If its funny, its perfect “bait” to get other link mentions from other top comedy sites

You also get a (non anchor text) dofollow link in your profile. You can see mine here. You can then of course promote your profile/articles with link building software to build up the credibility of your pages and their website, making the link to your page share more authority.

Everybody promises links, but their strategies are common sense concepts that I had figured out myself already.
