Link Building with Jisko

*Updated: I had a typo that said the software was on jisko.com, when it is actually .org. Sorry for the typo and it has since been fixed.

Jisko is an open source blogging platform much like the previously covered tumblr. Jisko.org is the site that offers the script for you to download to your server, and Jisko.net is their public demonstration website.

Jisko.net is a quick PR4 link you can get, but the site is Spanish by default so you may need to use Google Translate to make your job easier. After that, you can do a google query to find a bunch of sites to sort through to find the good ones you can build links from.

Search with this:
http://www.google.com/#hl=en&q=%22powered+by+jisko%22+-jisko.net+%22public+notes%22&aq=f&aqi=&oq=&fp=252c6d681565ba35

While the links are not anchor text to your keyword, over 95% of them are dofollow and pass pagerank. There is only about 25-50 decent link targets with this anchor, but seeing as I am the first to cover this software from a link building stance, you can get a few quick links today to power index your new sites.

  2. You’re wrong, the site to download the script is at http://jisko.org, not jisko.com.

    Thanks.
