The community director of a website named RedGage contacted me plugging her company. I signed up for the website and dug around in it for a bit, and decided it was worth sharing with you guys. Rather than doing my usual super-short-review of the site, I enclosed the community directors description of her site in her own words.

Hi Collin

My name is Elizabeth and I am the community director at RedGage (www.redgage.com). Your blog covers a variety of tips and inspiration for online money makers. Since you write about the unique SEO findings that these users might be interested in and tips for helping business owners create a profit, RedGage could be a relevant tool for your readers. In case you are looking for a new website to blog about, your readers might be find the site helpful! RedGage has unique importing and broadcasting tools that help users drive traffic and better understand how to promote their own content.

RedGage allows content creators to put all of their work in one convenient place. From photos, blogs, links, videos, and documents, users are able to archive their content and utilize social networking tools. Within a few moments, users can import their content from other places online (Flickr, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc). RedGage also shares advertising revenue and users can make money from their page views. Without ever giving up the rights to their work, artists can make money doing what they love to do. RedGage is a tool for driving traffic, socializing, archiving, and making money.

[...] We believe in the supportive and creative community that is forming on RG. We hope
that you and your readers will find it to be a useful tool with innovative features. Thanks for your time and have a wonderful New Year!

Take care,
Elizabeth

Redgage has many features that you can read on their about page, or many of the startup reviews that you can find with Google. From a link building perspective, there is a place on your dashboard that allows for adding link(s) to your profile, which are anchor text and dofollow. Take a look at the Collin’s RedGage profile for an example (yes I write about myself in third person now).

$25 Contest
The site also has a daily $25 giveaway contest for people that blog about the site or refer members. You can give me an entry by putting “collinlahay” into the referral spot or by using this referral link: **** CLICK HERE ****. If I win the $25, I will give it away to a charity or a reader, so there is reason you shouldn’t give me an entry :-)

  8. I just signed up Collin. I used your username under “reffered by”.

Btw, I noticed you do a lot of befriending people on Red-Gage. Is that something you do on all web 2.0 properties and article directories, or are you just testing it out on Red-Gage? Do you find it to be a good investment?

  14. I have been a member at redgage now for the past two years. My first six months on the site saw earnings of only pennies a day, than I began to catch on to how to really make money on RG, and I now earn about $2 a day. I did do a blog on RG called HOW TO EARN REAL MONEY ON REDGAGE in which I show step by step how the highest earners on redgage pull in around $1,500 per year, and anyone can do it if they put the time and effort into it.
Photos, videos, links are all nice, but for me blogs are big earners. I treat each blog like a small articles, and many of my blogs have earned me between $5 – $12 range. Not bad for a short blog.
