Update on my link building posts

I have been getting a few emails stating that people’s links have gone from dofollow to nofollow from a few sites that were recently published on the blog, and it is because I have so many subscribers via email on this blog, so the sites get a flood of traffic the day I make my posts, and that makes them check their logs to see what referrals are sending traffic.

From here on out, to increase our anonymity and decrease sites updating their systems, I am not going to be hyper-linking any site, and any link that needs to be hyperlinked will be masked by a referral-hiding domain. I will still provide the URL for you to copy paste into your browser.

As many of you have probably already noticed, I have redirected CollinLaHay.com to UberLinkBuilding.com. The switch will take a few weeks for all of the pages to adjust on the search engines, as well as the new wordpress theme to be configured.

There are a lot of reasons why I have switched the domain name to this blog, but the biggest reasons are that I wanted to:

1.) Making It Official

  • Previously this was a one-man show of mine (Collin LaHay), but it is time to expand. Jeremy Quinn, another link building consultant and good friend of mine has jumped aboard Uber Link Building as well.

Quality is key in off-page optimization in foreign markets

Search engine optimization can be divided into two broad categories: on-page optimization and off-page optimization.

The on-page stuff is reasonably straight-forward, in that the optimizer has full control over what they write and what is uploaded to the website. In the simplest possible terms, they have to incorporate key search phrases into the main copy of their website so that Google – and other search engines – can match the site to searches made by the world’s internet users.

*Update: I won the $2000!

Well I have been real busy with link building this week that I haven’t had time for a blog post or to look over the blog posts in my RSS reader. I finally took a half hour break to sit down and read through my blog posts and saw a contest ending soon from John Chow’s blog. He was originally going to end it May 31st but their was a communication mix-up and so now hes picking this weekend.

My Startup Ideas I Never Launched

Well, this post doesn’t really have anything to do with link building, but I thought some of you would enjoy it.

Being an internet entrepreneur and having an INTP personality, I have a knack for thinking of crazy and unique website ideas that could potentially become incredibly viral or make a bunch of money. While some of my ideas have done remarkably well, others have not due to my lack of time, investment, or determination to develop and launch them.
