BlogOnExpo is live
BlogOnExpo launched a few days ago, but just as I imagined it went by without many people hearing about it. BlogOnExpo is a free online conference which tries to emulate the sessions that you hear about at a real marketing conference for those that cannot afford to fly to them all. The only problem with BlogOnExpo is that the whole reason people go to conferences isn’t for the 30 minute sessions/speeches, but is rather for the networking with the people you can meet.
Setting up my first niche store
Setting up a network of niche stores (also known as BANS, which is short for Build A Niche Store’s) that earn money off the eBay Affiliate Program has been something I have been wanting to do for awhile. The BANS software and the Pepperjam affiliate system have a wicked combination that allows you to earn money off the entire eBay.com inventory (the largest sales website on the web).
Link Building with LookupPage
Udi Drezner contacted me about his site called LookupPage, which is an online tool for managing your online presence (ranking in the search engine), and for tracking who is looking for you.
Basically, you can sign up for a free profile account much like my post about Naymz. On your profile page, you can write an “about” type page, as well as anything you would put on a LinkedIn or Facebook profile. At the bottom, you are allowed to add as many of your links as you want, and they are search engine friendly anchor text.
