Full disclosure: This post topic is pretty dirty, almost considered blackhat. The idea for this post was from a friend who wished to remain anonymous, but was purely looking for me to give him some slightly higher converting google queries to find the sites. He gave me permission to post this on the blog.

Link Building with Fiverr

This is a little different than most one way link building techniques that you normally see here on Uber Link Building. The site we are mentioning in this post is called Fiverr.
URL: http://fiverr.com

The reason this post is a little different than what you are probably use to is because Fiverr is a marketplace where anyone can sell any service they want with the intention that the price is always a flat $5. You can find people who will advertise your site to their twitter list of 100,000 friends for $5, as well as a random chubby guy dancing without his shirt off holding up a piece of paper with your website on it.

If you have been reading any news/tech/startup blog for the past 9 days, you will have already heard about GooglePlus, the new social network that Google is integrating into all of their services. If you haven’t heard about it yet, I would recommend looking it up before returning to this post as I will not be getting into details that the majority of readers have already seen about twenty times over.

Link Building with Laconica

Laconica (now renamed StatusNet) is an open source social networking script that very nearly duplicates the look and feel of twitter. The software allows you to create a profile, post frequent small status updates, tag friends, and join groups that are you interested in. There are thousands of web servers that have been running the script for a very long period of time, and as we all know, this means the links you get from these websites will be stronger. The sites are also updated so frequently that Google crawls them very often, meaning you can use these sites to quickly index your new sites, or to speed up the indexing time on your new blog posts/pages.

Link Building with WikkaWiki

It has been quite awhile since I posted, far longer than I had planned. To make up for lost time, I have decided to give a really good gem away, one that I kept for myself and clients for quite some time.

Everyone has tried or thought about putting links on wikipedia to get tons of traffic (and SEO benefit before they started nofollowing the links due to spammers). However, it is merely impossible now that they have perfected their anti-advertising system. Well, WikkaWiki is an open source software much like MediaWiki that Wikipedia runs off of. WikkaWiki is great for new sites looking to setup a wiki very quickly, and they have a great support staff.

Link Building with My Blog Guest

Guest blogging has always been a very powerful way to get strong links from editorial quality websites. The reason is because it is a win-win opportunity for both the site owner, as well as the guest poster. If you look long and hard enough, you can find many websites that allow guest posts (including this one), however Ann Smarty went above and beyond when she created My Blog Guest.

My Blog Guest is a community of guest bloggers and website owners who are looking for guest writers. The site does the job of weeding out the search of finding which sites accept guest posts, so you can save time and get right to growing your website and expanding your link building targets.
